Movie Clip Wednesday -Theme: Alcohol in a Movie

High-tail it over to Boxer's fer a peek at the rest of the Movie fun, y'all!

Sorta thought to do POLLACK, but his work looks like a bad binge to me so anyhow, whar's the surprise in that story?

Or mebbe a clip from The Affliction? ya know--whar' Nick Nolte swigs scotch as mouth wash then yanks his tooth out wif' pliers?

A clip of The Days of Wine and Roses was mah first idea--but it was, ah,  rather sobering (!)

So fer the sheer fun of it, lots of  "shaken not stirred". This is use of alcohol in a movie as part of the iconic identity of the character

and Holly Golightly's party, Capote's gently cynical view of American social behavior...

Oh, how could I have forgotten the party scene in one of my all time favorite movies? Great choice, Aunty! I agree with Chickory - Sean delivers the line best, but Daniel Craig came close with that last one. Happy MCW!

Yay! You're in this week and you're in with a great clip. *sigh* NOBODY can do Bond like Sean. Nobody.

Connery and Moore do the martini ordering justice - Bond style. And I've never seen Breakfast at Tiffany's but this scene looks like a classic 60s a Go Go. Nice choices and glad to see you're back.

Happy MCW!
